Woodland Path Quilt Pattern

A panel quilt that turns a single printed panel into a full-size quilt top. The panel is cut into fifteen 8½" squares and thirty 4½" squares, framed with sashing and alternating nine-patch corners, then finished with two borders. A straightforward way to show off a panel you like too much to cut into anything smaller.

The sample was made in Winter White by Moda Fabrics.

Fabric requirements

• Panels — (15) 8½" x 8½" and (30) 4½" x 4½"
• Alternating squares — ⅝ yard total
• Brown — ⅝ yard
• Green — ⅝ yard
• Red — ¼ yard
• Tan — ¼ yard
• Red A (panel border) — 1⅓ yard
• 1st border — ⅝ yard
• 2nd border — 1⅓ yard
• Binding — ¾ yard
• Backing — 5⅓ yard (45" wide)
