This Privacy Policy describes how Lala and Mer ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit lalaandmer.com, buy from us in person at a show, or otherwise interact with us.

Information we collect

When you visit the site. We automatically collect information about your device, including your browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. We also collect information about the pages and products you view, what you search for, and how you interact with the site. We refer to this as Device Information.

We collect Device Information using cookies (small data files placed on your device), log files, and web beacons or pixels.

When you place an order. We collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this as Order Information.

When you buy from us at a show. We collect the information needed to complete the sale through our point of sale system, and your email address if you ask for a receipt by email.

When you sign up for our newsletter or contact us. We collect your name and email address, and whatever you choose to tell us in your message. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details ourselves. Payments are processed by our payment provider.

How we use your information

We use your Order Information to:

  • fulfil your order, including arranging shipping or local pickup
  • send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts
  • communicate with you about your order or a return
  • screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  • send you our newsletter, only if you have asked us to

We use Device Information to help protect against fraud, and to understand how customers use our site so we can improve it.

We do not run targeted advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

Who we share it with

We may also share your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information, or otherwise to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

Do Not Track

We do not alter our data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, update or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us for a copy of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. To make any of these requests, email us at service@lalaandmer.com and we will respond as required by law.

Please note that we need to keep certain order records for tax and accounting purposes even after a deletion request.

If you are in Europe, our lawful basis for processing your information is the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running our business and preventing fraud, or your consent. Your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, and for as long as we are required to keep it for tax and accounting purposes.

Children

Our site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time, to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
