Wings of Wonder by Sue Penn for FreeSpirit Fabrics
Introducing Wings of Wonder, my latest fabric line that I created to celebrate the magical beauty and inspiring transformation of butterflies. There is something truly heartwarming about these delicate creatures — their journey from humble caterpillars to graceful butterflies reminds us of God’s infinite creativity. The centerpiece of this collection is a 1-yard panel featuring a vibrant rainbow background filled with intricate patterns and lacyS medallions. Butterflies gently swirl across the fabric, starting with large, bold butterflies at the bottom and gradually transforming into smaller, whimsical butterflies at the top. This design captures the graceful movement and serene beauty of butterflies. To complement the panel, I designed a variety of playful and colorful coordinating patterns. Tapestry features flowers and butterflies dancing on a rich blue-green background. Glow and Pebbles offer two cheerful dot patterns — Glow in a vivid pink and Pebbles in a bright rainbow of colors. Lacy showcases elegant medallions on a warm, rich ground of red, orange, and pink, while Fiesta bursts with vibrant, multi-colored starbursts. Wings presents smaller butterflies fluttering across a scaled-down version of the panel’s intricate background. Circle Pop adds a modern, lively touch with bold, popping paper circles on a dramatic black background. Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
